The intersection of activism and education with Alice Tsui

On this week’s episode of Conversation Piece, activist and music educator Alice Tsui joins Patrick to discuss the intersections and overlaps of education and activism. Alice talks about her journey as a pianist, how her love of music became intertwined with her passion for education, and the way her Brooklyn roots inform so much of the work she does in her community. She also shares four pieces missing from these intersecting conversations today: recognizing the work happening behind the scenes, acknowledging the joy in our communities, the importance of affirmations, and the necessity of amplifying the youth in all of this.
